On August 18th, Vision Financial Group volunteered with the Miracle League of Western New York to support “Buddy Night” at Miracle League Field in Grand Island, New York. This event and the organization as a whole provides children with disabilities the opportunity to play in a safe and supportive environment.
“We believe that everyone should be given the opportunity to play and enjoy the excitement of VFG playing,” said Joe DiLeo, CEO of Vision Financial Group. “The Miracle League provides that opportunity for children and adults with disabilities, and we’re proud to support their work.”
In addition to volunteering, as part of Vision Financial Groups support, the firm donated gift bags and provided pizza and snacks at the event.
Volunteers were given the opportunity to partner up with a player and help them enjoy a game of baseball. Volunteers and their buddies ran the bases, made plays and had the opportunity to hit a pitch. It was a phenomenal opportunity to help kids be kids and make some friends at the same time.
