Agency Technology Specialist

Vision Financial Group is a growing financial firm. The firm is hiring an Agency Technology Specialist who is motivated and will provide outstanding customer service.

The ideal candidate for this position will be a self-starter who has the ability and desire to learn new skills. A strong understanding of networking concepts and PC, network and printer troubleshooting are also required to succeed in this role. Communication and personality are a must in this highly energetic position.

Responsibilities: Desktop/Helpdesk Support

  • Act as the main contact for all issues and updates relating to technology
  • Update and manage the Firms ticketing system
  • Troubleshoot desktop support and/or system issues
  • Administer hardware and software updates accurately and efficiently
  • Access, repair and set-up new and existing pc’s
  • Provide technical support for agents and firm staff

Responsibilities: Administration

  • Design and implementation of Firm Database
  • Technology representative at all meetings
  • Administer agency telephone and voicemail systems
  • Facilitate new hire requests with the home office
  • Manage printer scanning and printing access
  • Maintain firm encryption log

Responsibilities: Training and Development

  • Lead monthly firm training sessions
  • Train new agents on firm technology

Desktop/Administration Competencies:

  • Experience in IT Service Management
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair issues
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Great attention to detail

Technology Competencies:

  • Office 365
  • Windows 10/11
  • MacOS X
  • Familiarity with Android and iOS operating systems
  • Understanding of networking in an office environment
  • Physical Desktop knowledge (Cables, Adapters, Switches, etc.)

Salary commensurate with experience.
